Turning real-world production data into live tradable markets for assets that were previously invisible.

The Thesis
Without a trusted reference price, a commodity cannot be financialised. It cannot be hedged, borrowed against, or traded efficiently. It remains a physical-only market, constrained by local relationships and manual settlement. We build the layer that turns physical goods into financial assets.

Methodology
Real-world data is noisy, adversarial, and incomplete. Traditional indices rely on voluntary surveys or limited transaction sets. A Bayesian approach allows us to ingest signals of varying quality—from trusted spot trades to scrapped listings—and weight them according to their proven reliability. We don't just produce a price; we produce a probability distribution of where the price likely is.

Strategy
We do not start by building a marketplace. We start by solving the data problem. Once the price is trusted, the market forms around it. But a price is useless if it doesn't settle. ClearMarket is designed from day one to be the settlement reference for binding contracts.

Proving Ground
It is the most complex pricing environment in the world today. Thousands of strains, fragmented state-by-state regulation, cash-heavy logistics, and zero banking support. If we can solve price discovery here, we can solve it for anything. It is the ultimate stress test for our architecture.
